Export Receipts of Bangladesh (including exports of EPZ) during the quarter Oct-Dec, 2008 stood at Tk.220167 million or US$ 3204 million . On the other hand Export Receipts for the immediate last quarter and the quarter Oct -Dec,2007 were Tk.258888 million or US$ 3778 million and Tk.195700 million or US$ 2852 million respectively. Export Receipts for the quarter under review decreased by Tk 38721 million (15.0%) or US$ 574 million (15.2%) and increased by Tk.24467 million (12.5) or US $ 352 million (12.3%) against the quarter July-Sep,2008 and the quarter Oct-Dec,2007 respectively. A comparative position of Export Receipts for the quarters Oct-Dec,2008, July-Sep,2008 and Oct-Dec,2007 is given below in table 1 & 1(A).
