SAARCFINANCE
A SAARCFINANCE Cell has been established in the Research Department of Bangladesh Bank since 1998 to carry out the responsibilities conferred upon it. Presently Economic Adviser of Bangladesh Bank is working as the Coordinator of SAARCFINANCE, Bangladesh. Under the supervision of a General Manager of the Research Department three officials have been posted in the SAARCFINANCE cell.
Sharing Information
Bangladesh Bank has already initiated exchange of central bank publications and other information with the central banks of other SAARC members. Moreover, under the information sharing of the Network, the SAARCFINANCE Cell supplies its publications to the different central banks of the SAARC countries and other information requested by them on occasional basis.
